My first First Thursday was a success! Well, we didn't buy any art BUT we did have a sweet party with our neighbors on the roof and drink some local beer and wine and check out all the cool stuff our fellow Portlandians are creating these days.

After taking sufficient advantage of the rooftop offerings, we headed down to the streets to check out the art scene.
As you can see, there's a little something for everybody! Including this magician, who, in this photo, was trying (and succeeding) to fit his whole body through a de-strung tennis racket. The crowd dug it.
Overall, there was some cool stuff, but nothing that just had to come home with us. Except this little scrap of metal...
Buuuut I just couldn't convince Davis. Go figure! Anyway, hope everybody has a great weekend!
