Photomad

Guess what time it is?! It's time for another Random Photo Tour of Portland! Or, another way of saying that I take a lot of pictures of stuff and sometimes like to throw them all together in one post to give you a taste of what things are lookin' like here in PDX these days. Because sometimes a picture is worth...eh maybe a few words. Let's see how this shakes out. Ready?
Beautiful unexpected stained glass adorns this building nearby
The 'hood. Whenever we move out of our place we will surely miss these blocks.
Our favorite local band- Guy Dilly and the Twin Powers. Yes they're playing across the street from Safeway and thereby diagonally across the street from us. Can't argue or complain about that : )
Dan! When he visited and we hit up a bunch of fun Portland spots and had sweet cousin times
And we realized how delicious vegan food can really be- and seriously, these beet and carrot curls are the stuff of dreams
Trees make me a happy lady
Some delicious Thai food we enjoyed on a recent date night-- quite the dramatic rice presentation
Davis, injured again, savoring some salty Larb
Old smokestack spies a half moon creeping up into the evening sky
Wise and weathered bark
Two roads diverged
The marvelous Fremont Bridge
Mighty moss overtakes Bridgeport's neon
The power of nature...and Portland's climate
Phew! We made it. Hope the photodump wasn't too overwhelming. We are approaching a delightful 4-day weekend during which we will be road tripping to Eugene, OR on a spontaneously-planned decision for Davis to finish out cycling season with a bang...and another 3 day stage race. And because, why not? We've never been to Eugene, it's a good ole college town, I'm sure we'll find some fun there. And of course, I'll bring my camera along and likely overshare about it when we return next week.

I hope everyone enjoys a relaxing Labor Day weekend. Love and miss you all! xo
